Mosquera is a tiny island located between Baltra and Seymour, one of the geographically uplifted islands, with a flat look, like Baltra, Plaza islands and Santa Fe.

The island consists of a long narrow stretch of white sand, rocks, and tide pools with a large population of sea lions. This is one of the best places to take shots of sea lions.

Mosquera is a favoured wet landing site for many yachts on their first or last day of tour. Calm waters offer excellent snorkeling opportunities and a stroll down the beach permits views of the Brown Pelicans, Boobies and colonies of Sea Lions that can be found here.
